National Ride To Work Day-June 15, 2020

Good Morning and Happy Monday-Today is June 15, 2020 and it’s National Ride to Work Day. Now, this may not be feasible for you or a little too late to jump on this bandwagon, but use the idea and get out after work-go for a ride, a walk, a run, something to get out and enjoy the weather. It is also a great opportunity to get some exercise, talk with a friend, be with your own thoughts, or whatever benefit you receive.

When you are on the road, walking, biking, driving, running, etc., be mindful of others doing the same. Stay connected to the moment and avoid distractions. Be respectful of each other and road safety will improve for everyone-whether you are on wheels or on your feet.

“Each day in the United States, approximately 9 people are killed and more than 1,000 injured in crashes that are reported to involve a distracted driver.1 Distracted driving is driving while doing another activity that takes your attention away from driving. Distracted driving can increase the chance of a motor vehicle crash.” https://www.cdc.gov/motorvehiclesafety/distracted_driving/index.html#:~:text=Each day in the United,of a motor vehicle crash.

Stay focused. Stay connected. Don’t be distracted. Stay Safe. Don’t become a statistic!
