With everything that life throws at us that we can’t control, take control of your health and wellness by being proactive. Yes, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but we all need to keep our health a priority, regardless of the month. How do we do this you may wonder? Make your appointments for your well visits with your doctors for check ups and annual testing. Everyone knows someone that has been affected by cancer or other diseases and many times these can be detected by a visit to your doctor. Some people are reluctant and nervous but it’s much better to be proactive than reactive.
When we talk about machines, in order to run properly and perform in top condition, they are scheduled for preventative maintenance, much like ourselves when it comes to annual check up’s. I know what’s going through your head, I don’t have time, I need to take care of this person or that person, I need to stay focused on work-well, let me tell you, if you are not taking care of yourself, you will be no good for others.
Make the call. Schedule the appointment. Take the time. If you won’t do it for yourself, do it for all the reasons you claim to be the reason you don’t have time. #safetysarahsays
